Australia tour on India for the 7 ODI matches. The first match was played at Vadodara on 25th October. Australia had started well the series by making a 1-0 lead move. Though the Australia have won the match, they have to notice how strong the opponent is. It was a very close match with a single digit win. Australia won it by just 4 runs. Australia batted first and scored 292 in 50 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Paine, Ponting, Hussey and white contributing half century each. India had a bad start by loosing Sehwag and Sachin early. Gambhir's 68 made innings steady. But Harbhajan's 49 runs from 31 balls and Praveen kumar's 40 of 32 balls took the game almost away from Australia. Harbhajan's wicket in the last over was the key for Australia's victory. India played all the 50 overs and got only 288 for 8. India is strong enough for Australia and expected lots from them in the fore coming matches.
