BAGHDATIS IN STOCKHOLM FINAL
The 2009 ATP Stockholm Final has arrived at last with Marcos Baghdatis from Cyprus getting a walkover from Robin Soderling in the Semi finals. The No.1 seeded player for the tournament Soderling was forced to withdraw due to an injury in the arm. Next, Baghdatis will be meeting Oliver Rochus in the deciding match that will be held today. They have had one head to head encounter in which the former had won. So, Baghdatis expects to have an easy win at the Stockholm Open Finals since his opponent is ranked only 87 in the world and has also had an easy route to the Finals with the 2nd seeded Tommy Haas withdrawing from the tournament due to influenza. Meanwhile in the Doubles Finals which will also be played today Bruno Soares from Brazil and Kevin Ullyett from Zimbabwe will play against the team of Simon Aspelin from Sweden and Paul Hanley from Australia.
