PRACTICE FOR ABU DHABI F1

The last race of Formula1 for the 2009 calendar is to be held at Abu Dhabi in the Yas Marina circuit on the 1st of November. The practice sessions one and two were held here on Friday. The hot day was further brightened up by the brilliant pacing of former champion Lewis Hamilton from McLaren and the current to-be champion Jenson Button who is leading the F1 standings at 89 points. Lewis Hamilton finished the session in around 1 minute and 44 seconds. Button finished just a few milliseconds later. Third to finish was Sebastian Vettel followed by Rubens Barichello just like how they are placed in the standings, Vettel in 3rd position and Barichello in 4th. In the second practice session Heikki Kovalainen again from McLaren took control of the race in the last few seconds from teammate Hamilton thus giving good signs of winning for McLaren in the Sunday race. Button and Vettel finished the practice 3rd and 4th respectively.
