The pre last race of the MotoGP calendar for the year 2009 took place today in Sepang, Malaysia. Casey Stoner who started the race being in the second row won a thriller of a race in around 47 minutes and 25 seconds. Dani Pedrosa came second on finishing around 15 seconds later. Italy’s Valentino Rossi came 3rd and in the process has bagged the 2009 World Championship Title with just one more race left which will not affect his lead over the others significantly. It is his 7th championship title in MotoGP. The race began with Rossi in the lead but soon Stoner and Pedrosa overtook him in the first corner itself and carried on till the end. This is Stoner’s second successive win. Jorge Lorenzo secured the fourth position in spite of problems in his vehicle. The last race which will end the year for MotoGP will be held on November 8 in Valencia.
