Zimbabwe is on tour in Bangladesh for the 5 ODI matches. The first ODI match was a day-night match played on 27th October. Zimbabwe cleaned Bangladesh by defeating them by 5 wickets. The match was a low scoring match in which Bangladesh batted first and fell for 186. Mushfiqur Rahim scored the highest of 56 and Dolar Mahmud got 41 of 32 balls which helped the home team to get the decent score. Zimbabwe did not have a good start though managed to win with an amazing innings by Chigumbura who scored 60 of 50 balls and Matsikenyeri's 47 runs. Chigumbura also bowled 3 wickets who was declared the man of the match. Zimbabwe won the first ODI and leads the series 1-0. Bangladesh have started very badly and have to come back strongly.
