PHELPS’ SUFFERING FORM

Michael Phelps, the swimming great, is currently having a troublesome form at hand to manage. In the current short-course World Cup run Phelps is finding difficulty and has openly confessed in the press conference that he is not practicing regularly which has led to his lack of performance. Phelps who has been multi Olympic champion previously, finished the 200m medley final in one minute, 53.93 seconds. The winner was Darian Townsend who managed to finish around 2 seconds earlier. So far Phelps has not reached the final and has been facing poor form for the last few days. The American even failed to advance to the final in the 100m butterfly event securing just the 11th position in the qualifying rounds. He has also lost in the 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke events thereby not qualifying for the finals. His prime focus now has to be to perform better at the World Cup Meet going to be held in Berlin.
