Garfmax College Toolbar Makes College Life Enjoyable
Garfmax toolbar was just released and is a fun tool for college people all over the United States. It sits atop your browser and after you choose your college you can vote on your favorite places to hangout, eat and even bars. Once in a while there are other icons that show up with other fun stuff.
The garfmax toolbar has a search window that you can set to your favorite search engine. It has a Facebook icon that launches a small box on your screen to keep up to date with your Facebook friends all the time. It also has a Like button so you can like any page you want to.
The garfmax toolbar then has your school letters in the middle. Once this is set by clicking the “College” icon on the left of the toolbar, you are then able to vote for your favorite establishments. The next icon is “Hangouts”. When clicked the garfmax toolbar “Hangouts” small box pops up and lists the top three hangouts as selected by all the others who downloaded garfmax at your college. If there is nothing listed then you are the first one at that school to choose.
Next comes the “Eat” icon which looks like the old Pacman eating the dots. Click it and get the top 3 restaurants revealed. These are places near your college because they are encoded votes that go along with your college. The same holds true for all the voting and if nothing is listed that only means you’re the first to vote.
Garfmax then moves to the “Bars” icon. College life and college town bars all go together. It operates the same way as the others. So click and find out where everyone is hanging out.
Finally there is a Twitter icon that allows you access to your Twitter account. You can give it a quick glance while doing your regular work. The Facebook and Twitter icons both identify when messages are waiting.
The garfmax toolbar is very useful if you’re visiting somewhere too. Just change your college to one that is in the area and you’ll get an up to the minute vote on the top three establishments in each category. So you’ll be able to find the crowd anywhere!
The handy tool could be used by the more determined types to show their favorite owners how they can get their places listed in exchange for a free meal or a discount. So find the garfmax toolbar and download it if you have a chance.
